Home-cooked food from the farm
When you stay at La Munequita, you can enjoy delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Jenny, La Munequita herself.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are made with care, using fresh ingredients from the farm and the surrounding area. Many dishes are inspired by local Costa Rican cuisine, combined with what the land offers in each season.
Food here is not rushed. It is a moment to sit together, share stories, and enjoy simple, honest flavors.

Our lodges are best suited for guests who enjoy nature, simplicity, and a slower pace. Sounds of animals, rain, and farm life are part of the experience.
Relax, explore, or both
La Munequita is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature. The farm is surrounded by rich wildlife — from colorful birds and monkeys to countless plant species. With some luck, you may even spot crocodiles nearby.
It is a quiet place to read, walk, observe, and simply be present.
For those who want to explore more, farm tours will be available soon. We also help organize excursions to nearby nature areas and national parks, including Corcovado.
Whether you stay for a few days or longer, there is more than enough to experience.
Camping on the farm
In addition to our lodges, La Munequita offers space for simple camping and van stays.
This is a quiet, natural place to stay, ideal for travelers with a self-contained van or those who enjoy camping close to nature. The camping area is small-scale and integrated into the farm landscape.
Guests can enjoy the same peaceful surroundings, wildlife, and connection to farm life as lodge guests.
